My First SLR Nikon D5200

Friday, June 21, 2013 - - 0 Comments

My first SLR, really its amazing to speak about this SLR - D5200. Before purchasing this i'm very eager when it will be available in the market, how sooner can i grab this product by looking out my expenses and all.. :)

Finally i bot it, I don't want to talk about its specifications because you all people can get it simply visiting nikon.co.in website. The greatest part of this camera is its 24MP with the latest Nikon's Expeed 3 image processor, rest all the things interestingly has been driven from the parent Nikon D7000. What we are missing missing in D5200 from D7000 is the weather sealing, inbuilt AFS motor and few menu related things. rest all were the same.

Before owning my D5200, I'm really worried when i got to know that D5200 didn't have the inbuilt AF-S motor, I shifted my mind over D7000. I visited a Bajaj Electronics store after hearing that D5200 is available, the appearance found to be just like the earlier model D5100. Holding this SLR felt me like, that i'm going to own it and walk away from the store... Unfortunately my pockets are empty. So i did a quick test over it by taking the pictures in the store itself. The pictures came amazing beautiful in low light conditions as well. I started increasing the ISO to the max and found to see the image quality still not getting down.

I gathered the money required for my first SLR and bought finally from HomeShop18.com, i love to share a couple picture(Toy picture to say :) ) that i took using my SLR.

I bought the camera with the Kit lens 18-55mm, after experimenting with it for months i feel to move to a better lens as I'm interested in portraits and landscapes much. There is a website i found which displays the pictures took by famous photographers, the shots are so amazingly captured at 500px.com . One would really die to watch such beautiful captures, actually after watching these pictures i started thinking of buying new lens, It's not that my 18-55mm isn't performing well, It is really an amazing one i took over 200 plus snaps in my friends marriage engagement, all are beautifully captured, but capturing portraits with BOKEH background is the one i'm looking after to try, well with 18-55mm lens i still managed to get BOKEH backgrounds while taking the portraits. The above and below images is taken with my 18-55 lens.

I heard and gone through the macro photography, Nikon's 40mm, 60mm, 85mm and 105mm are various available macro lens. To start i placed order for 40mm lens, soon after i receive it i will place few more images here.

Overall I'm dam satisfied with my D5200, it's powerful fast and amazing SLR.

Hame A2 Wifi router review

Wednesday, March 20, 2013 - - 1 Comments

Recently i purchased the Hame A2 wifi router, so wanted to share some beautiful features of it.

- Its a portable WIFI router, so can carry it with you and enjoy wireless internet browsing anywhere.
- When i say HAME A2 is portable WIFI router, it means not only it is compact in size but due to its built in 5200 mah battery makes it perfect to work without power for 10 plus hours.
- HAME A2 lets you charge your mobile phones, tablets using the built in 5200 mah battery. A small comparison - A laptop battery will be not more than 4800 mah but HAME A2 has 5200 mah battery.
- Due to its compact size you can carry it in your pocket as well.

- It is brilliant in its support.
  a) Able to connect RJ45 Ethernet wire and transmit the internet data as WIFI.
  b) It accepts USB data cards of various categories like USB 3G | 4G | RJ45 DHCP | ADSL | EVDO | UMTS |, connecting these devices the internet data will be transmitted as WIFI.
  c) It is also a WIFI repeater, so Hame A2 will increase the existing WIFI router's range.
  d) You can connect your harddisk/pendrive to Hame A2 and make the data available for everyone, one who will be able to connect to device wifi will also be having read and write access on the harddisk data. Hence one can upload and download the harddisk content, thats how it is DLNA supported.
  e) 5200 mah Power bank is really an excellent support that one will be getting from Hame A2.
